Hi Liz,

It's nice to find you again. I just had my mitochondrial DNA analyzed and of course it goes back through Fanny Fitzsimons who married Harry Trodden in Leeds. My maternal grandmother, Agnes Trodden, told me that the family had migrated from Navan in Ireland to Leeds, but I find two Navans - one in Meath and one in Armagh. The 1831 census shows a substantial number of Troddens in Lisnadell Parish, Co, Armagh, so I suspect our bunch came from Armagh. Do you have further information?
