Hi Mike,

How are things in Wiggan? The John Trodden you mention may be the son of Henry (Harry) Trodden and Frances (Fanny) Fitzsimons of Leeds. Several of the children emigrated to Philadelphia after 1900 including John, Joseph, James, Agnes and Julia. Agnes m. Herbert Laverack of Leeds and was my maternal grandmother. The sons moved on as far as I know, but I'm told John Trodden often visited the Laveracks in Philadelphia and even stayed with them for a time. Uncle Jimmy setted in McKeesport, PA, and Joe moved back to England somewhere. Liz Hall, who posted recently, is a descendant and may have more info
