Please email me and ask me if I in fact have had contact with that person or what the nature of the contact was. Most of us on this site have had contact with each other anyway! I have had two people this week who have used my name quoting information that is not only not accurate Trogdon information, but most certainly didn't come from me. We have enough mystery with the Trogdon family and folks adding misinformation isn't a good thing, but when they are attempting to get credibility by mentioning the name of any true Trogdon researcher, unfortunately I find we have to be very suspect. Also unfortunately, for whatever reason and as weird as it sounds, there is a person here and on Genweb posing as a Trogdon researcher and will engage you in hours upon hours of providing information. I will be happy to share my experience and proof in this regard. Just please - if someone uses my name as the basis of any information, contact me and I'll let you know if I truly know that person or have given information. I guess the real mystery is why would anyone need to be a "poser" - I don't know any of us who aren't happy to share our Trogdon research anyway.
