I was just going thru Trogdon forum, I haven't been in it for a time and saw your reply RE: Howdy Trogdon Kin.

John Randolph Trogdon & Alice Mae Brevard and Son of Samuel Marion and Mary Craven Trogdon is my Great Grandfather his daughter Grace Trogdon married Gus Dallas and my Dad Gerald Ashford Dallas is one of their sons I had a question do you have any info on John and Alice Mae? I know he was born in Indiana ,I have all that but not much on his wife. BTW he died May 17, 1936 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Ia along side of my dads father Gus Dallas Sr and one of dads brothers Howard Dallas. Does anyone know the story of why the family migrated to Indiana and then how or why did John Randolph Trogdon wind up in Missouri. It didn't say much in his obit only that he had been ill for about six weeks and had moved to Keokuk about 7 years before making that about 1929. Alice Mae died in Missouri I have a copy of her death certificate. I am going to local courthouse to see if there is one for John soon.

I am looking for family stories as well as any documentations I can get on my family line. Was wondering if any of the Trogdons may have been of Quaker faith? Also I am looking for any photoes of my Trogdon line I have one of John R Trogdon and think of his siblings and maybe Alice Mae in the photo but am looking for more pics. I am thinking that maybe Alice Mae was born or lived in White Co. Illinois but nothing to prove it as of yet. Any help would be much appreciated
