Hello,

My name Terri Trollinger, and I have family that were born and raised in Alamance county. My grear-great grandmother was Lizzie Trollinger and I beleive that my great-great grandfather's name was Fred. She had 13 or 14 children. 1 still living in Haw River....Beatrice Trollinger. I am very interested in finding out the origin of the Trollinger name. As I was growing up I remember being told that my family's name came from a slave owner by the name of Captain Jack. I am also interested in knowing if there is a family crest.
