Seeking information on the family and origins of Margaret TROLINGER or TROLLINGER, b. abt. 1745 poss. in NC, d. 14 Sep 1832 in Sumner Co. TN, m. 1765-1770 in VA to John SARVER of Botetourt. Children: Samuel, Quinton, John, Jacob (?), Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, Jeremiah.
Margaret is said to be the dau. of Jacob Heinrich "Henry" and Anna Barbara (Widmer/?) TROLINGER or TROLLINGER, who moved c.1776 from Orange Co. NC to Montgomery Co. VA, where Henry operated a saltpeter mine and accumulated large land holdings.
However, both the dates of Margaret's b. and m. make it more likely that she was Henry's sister or niece. Alternatively, she may belong to a previously unknown TROLINGER-TROLLINGER family in Botetourt Co. VA.
