Possible but unlikely -- the only other John SARVER or SERVER in the Botetourt records is his son, John Jr. (1772-1848), who m. 10 Jun 1797 in Botetourt to Mary Margaret SMITH. This couple later moved to Allen Co. KY.

However, another inconsistency has emerged: Henry TRILLINGER appears in the Orange Co. NC court records in 1783 and 1785; he does not appear in VA until the tax list of 1782. The precise date of his move north is uncertain, but I wonder if it was early enouth for his dau. Margaret to m. John SARVER in c.1775, let alone c.1765. Again, I cannot resolve this inconsistency.
