You have mixed up the Johns. My John was in NC until 1806 in spring and then left with his siblings Henry-Adam and Margaret married to Louis Bond. They went to Bedford Co TN in Bell Buckle. I have lots of documents to prove this. My John was born in 1770's. His father was Henry Sr who was also there in NC and went back to Montgomery Co VA. My John sold his land in NC to a brother William but was in Bedford at the time. In 1806 my John in NC married Mary Polly McCullough as his 2nd wife and they left for TN . He did have son John Jrborn abt 1790's . Then from Bedford Co in 1819 they left for Wilson Co Tn with the same group. John died the next year. I have many many many records to substanciate all this. Now Adam who stayed in Bedford also had a son John much younger who could have married Sarah .But it was not the John of NC to Bedford and then to Wilson Co. My John and his brother Henry Jr were in militia in Bedford Co and fought in War of 1812. Pat
