The correct spelling is Wendelin Drollinger. He was born in Dietlingen and lived in Ellmendingen. The church records in Dietlingen begin in 1600 and those in Ellmendingen 1616. Wendelin was a judge probably in nearby Pforzheim. He was the son of Melchior Drollinger of Dietlingen. It is believed Melchior's father was one Bernhardt Drollinger but there is no concrete proof of this. Bernhardt is the oldest male who could be the father of Melchior. The Tyrol part came much earlier. I have a copy of the Trollinger part of Darst and also Darst and Durst Families. In addition there is quite a bit of data in "Early Adventures on Western Waters, a history of the New River" by Kegley and Kegley in 2 volumes. I hope this brings your research a bit further along.
