My great grandfather Robert KEWLEY married Elizabeth TROUGHEAR on July 29th 1867 (possibly 1869 due to writing on m. cert.)in Liverpool. Both 21 years of age her father was Thomas TROUGHEAR (a Stonemason) and his was Thomas KEWLEY (a Joiner).I remember my father saying to me that his grandfather (TROUGHEAR) was transported to Australia.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
John Kewley
