Just from census records it appears that Catherine, Elizabeth, Nancy and Delila(h) would have been full sisters and all with the maiden name of Trover.
I found the 1856 Cass census, land records and Catherine's marriage on the county levels of the US Genealogy Web Project (Roots Web) On the land records you will see that many men lost their land. I suspect it was because they couldn't come up with the cash to make the payments.
It seems to me like John Collins must tie in somehow?? My next step will be to see if his mother might have been a sister of Joshua York or Stephen Stringham. I keep thinking that Catherine had sons who could've farmed their father's land and I don't think they'd have just left the farm, their mother and an aunt to a stranger- but maybe so????
