I, John Trover, of the town of Hopkinsville and state of Kentucky being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this as my last will and testament in manners following (to wit):

Firstly, I will that all my just debts (if any) be paid.

Secondly, that my body after death be buried in a plain but decent manner and a good substantial enclosure made around my grave.

Thirdly, I will that all my estate of every description be sold and the proceeds thereof be equally divided between my three sons in law Stephen Cisney, Nathan Young, Edward Shanklin and my son William Trover share and share alike.

Fourthly, I will my fine young heifer to Sally Brown my granddaughter in consideration of her kindness to me while sick and lastly I appoint William Trover and Daniel S. Hays executors to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16th day of February 1832.

Codicil: I make and publish this as a codicil to my last will and testament. I will in addition to the heifer herein given and bequeathed to my granddaughter Sally Brown that she have one equal share of my property with my son and sons in law as witness my hand and seal this 16th day of February, 1832.
