Mrs. Sarah A. Craine
Wife of William D. Craine of near Asbury church, north of Juniata, died at 11:30 Saturday evening at the family home of diabetes after an illness of two weeks’ duration.She was born Jan. 5, 1849, near Glasgow, Cambria county, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Troxell, both deceased.She is survived by her husband, three sons and three daughters, as follows: C. A. Craine of Asbury, F. I. Craine of Antis, Blair D. Craine of South Altoona, Mrs. Maude Templeton of Coalport, Mrs. Margaret Smith, of Juniata and Mrs. Mary Rupert of Huntingdon.She also leaves twenty-four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John Troxell of Glasgow, George of Blandburg, Mrs. Mary Hon of Glasgow and Mrs. Rebecca Smith of Bellwood.The funeral will take place from the late home at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, in charge of Rev. C. O. Beery, pastor of the Juniata Church of the Brethren.Interment will be made in the Asbury Cemetery.
