Hi,
My name is Keith M. Troyer and Mr.& Mrs. J.A. Troyer were my grandparents. J.A. Troyer's name was John Abraham, but he always went by the name of Abe Troyer because his fathers name was also John. John Abraham married Almira Odelia (Bair) Troyer. Jay, John and Max Troyer were sons of Abe and Almira Troyer. There were also eight daughters in the family. Jay Troyer was my father. Almira was a daughter of Samuel B. and Sarah A. (Sigler) Bear. (I don't know why the different spelling on (Bair,Bear). Sarah had a sister, Mol or Molly Sigler who may have married a Feisel. Could this have been Henry Feisel? If so, this would have been my great grandmother's sisters husband. My grandmother, Almira (Bair) Troyer also had three sisters and four brothers. My grandfather, Abe Troyer also had several brothers and sisters. Let me know who you want information on and I will try to find it. I don't have a whole lot of information on the (Bair, Sigler) families, but I have quite a bit on the Troyer families. I can give you a lot of names, etc. from the Troyer side. Most of my information comes from my older sister and a cousin from Lima, Ohio who knows some of the Feisels.
