TROYER / MAST, 1700s, PA, Switzerland

I have studied the TROYER family extensively. I am most interested in additional information on Susanna TROYER who married Jacob SWOVELAND.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is some of what I have on the TROYERs.

Descendants of David TROYER

Generation No. 1

1. DAVID1 TROYER was born 1707 in Europe. He married VERONICA FRANI (HOLLY) Abt. 1727.

More About VERONICA FRANI (HOLLY):
Fact 1: Holly is her second husband's name, not maiden name

Child of DAVID TROYER and VERONICA (HOLLY) is:
2. i. MICHAEL TROYER2 SR., b. 1734, Trub Valley, Canton Bern, Emmentel, Switzerland; d. April 04, 1807, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

Generation No. 2

2. MICHAEL TROYER2 SR. (DAVID1 TROYER) was born 1734 in Trub Valley, Canton Bern, Emmentel, Switzerland, and died April 04, 1807 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He married MAGDELNA MAST 1753 in Berks County, Pennslyvania.

Notes for MICHAEL TROYER SR.:

From a Miller - Troyer Genealogy,

MICHAEL TROYER, SR.

"Some researchers believe that Michael Troyer, Sr., arrived in Philadelphia in
1767 with his family and that his first wife died on voyage or soon thereafter. How-
ever, a book published in 1889 Commemorative Biographical Record of the Counties of
Wayne and Holmes, Ohio (page 660), has a statement by great-grandson Seth Troyer that
"Michael Troyer was brought to this country between the years 1745 and 1750 when a boy
of probably eight years of age by his step-father (John) Holly." Mr. Leroy Beachy,
Millersburg, Ohio, who has done research on the Troyer family, believes this to be
true, except that he thinks Michael Troyer was at least 16 years of age when he arrived here in 1750. Persons 16 years of age and older signed the ship list. A ship's
list is signed in 1750 by John Holly and by Michael Holly, who is probably Michael
Troyer. There is also an old Holly family Bible that seems to indicate this is
Plausable.

Michael Troyer, Sr., lived in Brother's Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and it is believed he died there around 1808. " *This is from a Miller/Troyer genealogy, p. 16

He is also shown in the LDS records as David Michael Troyer
