My family is the Avonia Troyer Wheelahan line. This is what I have on Andrew Troyer. Andrew John Troyer born 1828 in PA and died 10/23/1905. Married Mary Menton 11/4/1850 in St. Louis MO She was born 1830 in St. Helena Island, Atlantic ocean, died 1907. The New orleans city directory shows Andrew J. as a carpenter throughout the 1870's in NOLA - 1878 directory shows 3 sons:Charles H (age 16) a clerk; George H. (age 19) a carpenter; and William A. (age 21) a clerk. My cousin shows Mary Menton was dau. of a surgeon for Napoleon on St. Helena and he sent his family to St. Louis when he was threatened with execution. I am interested in finding out more about the Troyers. I have some pictures of Troyers with Lancaster PA on the back. Maybe we could correspond by e-mail? and share?
