Robert, I have a copy of 1880 census which shows A. J. Troyer 52 yrs, carpenter, born in PA, Parent's both born in PA. wife, Mary 47 yrs. b. St. Helena, Father b. St. Helena, Mother b. England. Dau. Mary age 28 born in Missouri, sons William A. 22 yrs (carpenter), George H. age 20 (carpenter), Charles H age 17 (carpenter), dau. Avonia E. age 13 and dau Allina age 9. All but Mary were born in Louisiana. I have requested a copy of marriage cert. of Andrew and Mary from St. Louis to see if parent names are shown on it. If I discover they are, I will let you know. I have an old tin plate picture of Mary Menton and will try to e-mail a copy to you if you're interested. Am going back to New Orleans in April and will see what else I can find there.
