I am glad to hear from you. Finding Francis ancestors became a obsession for me . Can you tell me where he is buried also you mentionned his name was spelled Trudelle on a land he received or bought I like to find where , also if he was a Catholic or other church . Do you think he was a voyager or a worker with the American Furs Co who turn farming . He was with the Union army during the Sioux uprising and his wife Mary with 2 children was in the forced march to Fort Snelling in 1862 ,hard to understand .
