3rd. Jean Trudel (1629-1699) & Marguerite Thomas (1634-1695)
4th. Jean Trudel (1669-1742) & Louise Mathieu (1670-1737)
5th. Gabriel Trudel (1699-1785) & Angelique Gregoire (1705-1774)
6th. Ambroise Trudel (1737-1816) & Marie Josette Matte
7th. Ambroise Trudel (1774-1816) & Genevieve Dubucq
8th. Felix Trudel* (1812-) & Elisabeth Marquis (second m. Felix Trudel* (1812-) & Sophie Caron)
9th. Magloire Trudel (1856-1933) & Modeste Cyr (1864-1923)
10th. Azilda-Marie Trudel (1898-1985) & Wilfred Hugh MacLean (1891-1963)- my grandparents.

It would appear that Jean Trudel III was the brother of your ancestor Antoine (Sr.).
The father of Jean Trudel I was Jaques Trudel so you can add that to your tree.
