The progenitor of this family is Jean Trudel, son of Jean Trudel and Marguerite (Noyer) Trudel, who was baptised circa 1629 at Parfondeval, Perche (Orne) France. He arrived in Quebec, Canada between 1645 and 1655, and was a weaver. He was confirmed at Hotel Dieu de Quebec on the 3rd of June 1664 at age 34. He married Marguerite Thomas, on 14 November 1655. Hope this helps.
