Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jim: I was born and raised (from 1948 until I married in 1970) in Sewickley, PA (near Pittsburgh). There were no other Trudells who lived there. I do remember a George Trudel (note only one "L"). Sewickley was and is a small town and I'm sure I knew almost every family there, especially any other one with the same or similar sur name. Is it possible that the name was changed?
