Rescued Photos, TRUE, LAURENCE Surnames, Long Island & MA Locations.

I rescue old photographs from antique shops or auctions, if they have the subjects and either dates or locations, documented, I try to place them back with descendants or family members.

The first photo I have is Clara Belle Laurence age 2 1/2 Long Island area, late 1800's. The baby is seated and wearing a long white gown. A later photo of Clara Belle, dated about 1903 age 17.

I also have a photo of a lady, I believe to be her mother-or possibly Aunt, married into the Laurence family. Lizzie
(looks like True or Trice) and the location of Fayville, LI, and in a different obviously later ink, Laurence is written below the information. There is a resemblance between Lizzie and Clara Belle. The date on the back of Lizzie's photo is 1881 and the photographer has an address of Gloucester, Mass.

All spelling on these photos indicate that the name was spelled with a U.

If these sound familiar, please contact me at: digginroots@yahoo.com Thanks
