Hi Diana!

I saw your POST and couldn't believe what I saw! My late Grandmother, Laura Alice Parker Strickland, told me of a story of an Engish man (I thought she said Sea Captain-but who knows-she was told way over a hundred years later) taking off with a Scotch /Irish lass and coming to America. Her mother was MATTIE TRUELOVE, and she was the Great, Great Grandaughter of Timothy TRUELOVE born 1754, and Lucy Avent. That's as far as I've gotten. The mention of there really being a ship named TRUELOVE and a TRUELOVE coming to America on it really peaks my curious interest to say the least! I am so excited to find this and I hope to be able to get in touch with you!
