He was married to Josephine SPECHT (daughter of Joseph SPECHT and Caroline REIL) on 12 Feb 1877 in Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IL. Josephine SPECHT was born on 8 Aug 1843 in Carlyle, Clinton Co., IL. She Settled about 1877 in Pana, Christian Co., IL & Oconee, IL. She died on 9 Mar 1920 in Pana, Christian Co., IL. Augustus TRUMPER and Josephine SPECHT had the following children:

i.       Catherine E TRUMPER.
ii.       Leo Paul TRUMPER.
iii.       Anna TRUMPER.
