Hi Mark

My worldwide study of the surname Trus(s)ler embraces the surname Truslow (I have more than 800 Truslows in my databse).

I am intrigued by your advice that the earliest Truslow going to the USA was a Samuel since most people seem to think this particularl line was started by a Thomas Truslow born c 1735 in England (although I have to say that one of my soureces thinks it might have been in the 1720s).

As far as I can tell this Thomas probably arrived in Virginia before 1756. It would therefore be interesting to relate this to the 1741 date you mentioned.

I would appreciate if you could tell me more and also how you fit into the Truslow tree. The latter might help me to take you further back than you are at present.

Best Regards
