I came across your posting while trying to do some family research of my own on the Preston/Tucker family (Preston's mother's maiden name was Preston) I am married into the Tucker family (my father-in-laws' father was Preston's Brother) I have heard that Preston did reside in Lincoln Park, and may have been a Police officer there for a short time. I have e-mailed my mother-in-law to see if she can confirm the information you have requested. I will forward any information I recieve.
