I agree with the drowning death - I am trying to confirm with any documentation the date of death. He did drown in the Broad River, in NE Georgia - it is between Elbert Co and Madison Co. He lived in Elbert Co. (1830 census) but I understand he was buried on the the other side of the river in Madison Co.
