I would live to hear from any Tuckers or Tucker descandants from the Winston-Salem area in the last century.
I would love to contact some long lost relatives and share some research and family pix, etc.
My Tuckers were from the Walkertown area 1800-1860. Some moved on to Salem to work in the mills. Some went to TN by 1860.
David M. Tucker b. abt 1823 is listed in
1860 Census, Forsyth Co., NC #1170 Salem Dist., Salem PO Shoemaker $48
1870 Census, Forsyth Co., NC #156 Walkertown PO, Middlefork Township, Shoe & Boot Maker
Does anyone have any info at all on this David M. Tucker and his children?
