FAMILY HISTORY OF WALLACE NEWTON TUCKER

Mr. Moore and Verlinda Gettings were born and married in Maryland, but moved to Kentucky where all their children were born in Harrison County near Cynthiana.
One of their sons, Benjamin Moore married Julette Mitchel. They had four children; Sarah Ann (father of Wallace Newton Tucker), Elizabeth (grandmother of cousin Rosa Estes Marechal, wife of Emile D. Marechal, and mother of Bertha and Florence), and twin boys, James and William Moore.
Sarah Ann Moore was married twice, first to Jeremiah Tucker. By this marriage three children lived; Harriet Frances Tucker (she was first married to Mr. Irons, and after his death to Mr. George, parents of Clay George who lived in Cythinana, Kentucky). Benjamine Marion Tucker (married Minerva Gray, parents of Odella, Ethel, Wrayburn and Allie Tucker), and Wallace Newton Tucker.
After the death of Jeremiah Tucker, Sarah Ann Tucker married Samuel Railey. There were two children; Henry Newell Railey (married Delia Courtney, parents of Cornelia, Samuel and John), and Margaret Kavanaugh Railey.
Wallace Newton Tucker and Martha Ellen Ellingsworth were married in Missouri. Their children were; Harriet Bell Sharp, Joseph Marion Tucker, Sarah Elizabeth Tucker, James Alfred Tucker, Lucy May Tucker and Margaret Tucker.
Harriet Bell Tucker was married to Arthur M. Sharp, parents of Lee Sharp, Elsie Sharp and Carrie Sharp Ames.
James Alfred Tucker was married to Eva Rush, parents of Zetella Tucker Mueller, Margie Tucker and Floyd Tucker.
(Not mentioned in the original history by Margaret Railey; Joseph Marion Tucker died at an early age. Sarah Elizabeth Tucker was never married).
Margaret Tucker, age 21, and William Richard Benson, age 23, were married in St. Joseph, Missouri, August 27, 1902. They were the parents of Thomas Wylie Benson, born June 18, 1903; Ellen Elizabeth Benson, born May 4, 1907; William Alfred Benson born March 21, 1911; and Margaret Harriet Benson, born September 29, 1912.
*I believe this document was originally transcribed from the original by Margaret Tucker Benson before her death in 1977, she most likely added the portions after the mention of Marion Tucker's death at the end.
