I am looking for the parents of Jess Andrew Tucker. Jess was born in Missouri, we think in either Willow Springs or Clear Springs. He eventually married my ggrandmother, Alice Marie Torgeson after a previous marriage to a woman named Margaret.
Apparently there was some sort of falling out in the family when he was young, insomuch that Jess wouldn't speak of his father to his children. All we know is that Jess had 3 brother, Lonnie Reuben Tucker, Mart G. Tucker, and Robert Frank Tucker. He also had a sister named either Grace Elizabeth Tucker or Betty Lee Tucker who eventually married a Pitt.
We also found out very recently that Jess had a half-brother named Willie Tucker (probably short for William, but not positive). They shared the same father.
According to a letter that he wrote to my ggrandfather Jess, he and Jess shared these nationalities: Scotch-Irish, English and French.
Jess's mother's name we do not all together know. The records at the cemetery say her name was Jennie Alva Tucker, but once again, Jennie is probably a nick-name and it leaves her maiden name a mystery.
Absolutely any information you have on this family would be GREATLY appreciated. We have been stuck at this brick wall for a very long time.
