I have a lot on Foster and Berry families who came from Tennessee to Missouri to Texas. However, my grandfather Jefferson Milton Tucker who was born 01 Mar.1882 in Grapevine, Tarrant Co., TX, d.1940's ? poss. Gladewater, Gregg Co, TX, m. 13 Oct. 1901 in Grapevine, Tarrant, TX to Mary Belle Berry b.15 Nov 1881 Springfield, MO d.29 Dec 1932 Fairlawn Ceme, Cushing, Payne, OK. J. Milton is my brickwall. I know he grew up in Grapevine, his parents were J.S Tucker (don't know what these initials stand for) and Mary Isabella Foster (both buried in Grapevine Cemetery, Grapevine, Tarrant, TX) and he had one sister, Willie Joella Tucker Tarwater.
Milton and Mary Belle had 8 children:
1) James Joel Scott Tucker b.14 Feb 1902 Grapevine, d. 07 July 1992 Melbourne Ceme, Melbourne,Brevard, FL, m. Pauline Margaret Gross had 2 adopted babies that died and 1 adopted son Gerald Allen Tucker.
2) Glenn Tucker b. 09 Nov. 1905 Grapevine, TX d. 1944 Phoenix, AZ, m. Juanita Brown and had 1 son Robert Eugene Tucker.
3) Mary Eliz."Sister" Tucker b.01 May 1906 Grapevine, Tarrant, TX d.2005 Springfield, MO buried in Fairlawn Ceme. Cushing, Payne, OK,
4) Marjorie Madeline Tucker Coyne,b.15 Oct 1908 Ok City, OK d. 2007 Cushing, Payne, OK buried Fairlawn Ceme.in Cushing m. "Mickey" Emmett R. Coyne bur.Fairlawn Ceme had 2 children, David Creighton Coyne b.1932 in Cushing and Suzanne Coyne, b. 1930 in Cushing.
5) Frankie Tucker Atha, b. 11 July 1910 OK City, OK d. OK City, OK m. Clyde Atha and had 3 child: Patty, Sue and Jim Bob Atha
6) Geraldine Tucker Means,b. 06 Mar 1915 in Cushing, Payne, OK m. Luther Earl Means and had 2 child: Mimi Ann and Nikki Jan.
7) Robert Harold Tucker,b.05 Jul 1919 Cushing, OK m. Jean Partin and had 2 child: Jack Paul and Jill Ann Tucker.
8) Helen Charlyne Tucker Speaker (my mother) b.20 Feb 1921 Cushing, Payne, OK m. Jess Willard Speaker b.07 Mar 1917 Drumwright, OK, d.07 Nov 1998 Irving, Dallas, TX bur. Laurel Land Ceme, Dallas, TX. They had 3 children, Karen Ann Speaker James, Jess Willard "Sandy" Speaker, II, and Paula Jo Speaker Anderson.
I need info on Milton, J.S. and hopefully any other related Tuckers, where they came from (states) and country of origin. I would appreciate any help.
