ROLL CALL--MARYLAND

It has been about 10 years or so since we have had a Maryland Roll Call on this forum. I am hoping that we have some new Maryland researchers since then.

I will begin with my oldest known ancestor in MD, which is John Tucker, Sr. who married Sarah_____. Some give her name as PETTIBONE. (KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND) I haven't found a supporting document to substantiate this. A John Tucker is mentioned in a PETTIBONE will as a grandson and this seems to be what this surname theory is based on. So, I am accepting the surname until proven or disproven. It does help to define our line. I am eager to see if anyone connects to John Tucker, Sr.'s children: Amorell (md. John WEBB) or John Tucker, Jr. (md. Isabella SCOTT/PRYOR) I would love to find descendants of John & Isabella's children too. There were 4 boys and 5 girls (John, Morgan, William, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Rebecca, & Isabella). We know that Morgan had a son named George (served in the Revolution--migrated to Monongalia Co. WVA--sold Morgan's share of land in 1783) and Jeremiah's land was sold in 1795 by a Thomas Tucker whom I believe to be his son. John Tucker III sold his land in 1780. At this time his wife's name was Ann. No information on William or the daughters. Any help appreciated.
Joan
