Hi Ryan, I hate to correct people, but the name of Billy the Kid's friend was John Henry Tunstall. Additionally, he was Billy's employer. He was born in East London on March 6, 1853 and died Feb 18, 1878 in Lincoln County New Mexico. He was the only son of John Partridge Tunstall and his wife Emily (Ramie'). A very extensive book has been written about him and the history of the time. The book is "The Lincoln County War - a documentary history" by Frederick Nolan.
