Your message was not clear who lived in the US. But this information my be of help. My Great Uncle was a William Henry TUNSTALL, and married a Doris Jolly 28/12/1933.
He joined the Royal Air Force for WWII. He was posted missing on 31/12/1940, and later persumed dead on the same date. I do not know if he had any children or what became of his wife, apart from the fact she remarried and move from Stoke-on-Trent to Rugby.
If this is of any help please let me know as a have a good photo of him scanned into my compauter.
