Hello Jacqui,

Yes, I knew that Turnsall was near Bulslem. I am trying to sort out some Heaths who came from Buslem, Horton, Hanley and other local areas. Those of the17th,18th and early 19th century were in the pottery business as was your family. The point that interlinks our two families is that in 1468 some land in Burlsem was bequested to a Robert and Alice Heath by Henry de Tunstall. This is recorded in the Turnstall Manor Court Rolls. What I am wondering is why? Was the a Heath daughter who married a Tunstall or a Tunstall daughter who married a Heath son? Do you have any ideas?

I have good genealogical data from about 1725 onwards, uncertain material back to 1620 and poor information before that.

Chris Heath
