I guess this isn't the connection I'm looking for if Elizabeth died at age 2. As far as the parents go, have you tried to locate them on FreeBMD? I just did a quick look for James & found 4 in Cumbria, all in Cockermouth: Q1 1867, Q1 1868, Q4 1871, Q3 1874. Maybe one of these, if he isn't there in 1881.
