What is the origin of black Tunstall

If anyone knows the exact history of the Tunstall genealogy, please help. I know about Jack Tunstall, but I don't know when black Tunstalls were introduced. I am sure it was the result of slavery (extramarital affairs). I am originally from Chicago, where most of the Tunstalls still reside.
