Edward remains somewhat of a mystery.
According to information supplied by the Kentucky branch of the family (in Americans of Royal Descent), the place and date of birth for the Tunstalls who came to Virginia has been established.
I'm sorry that I don't have a copy of the book. But apparently, there were two brothers, one of whom had the royal patent for the sale of tobacco in the city of Durham. He came to Virginia for economic reasons...It's unknown if the brother remained or accompanied him. Both brothers, according to the information supplied by the Kentucky branch of the family, were definitely descended from the Tunstalls of Thurland castle. They cite several Lancashire birthdates and marriages to establish the link.

is still a mystery, but I think it's reasonable to assume that he had a direct relationship to the two brothers.

of British royalty. Also, through the Parrs, they have ties with Henry VIII.
Best wishes,
William
