"Cemeteries of Pontotoc County" lists Felix Arnold Tutor b. 1877 d. 1952 Buried Hartwell Tutor Cemetery. He m. Addie Collums ca. 1899 and on 9 JUL 1911 m. Addie Dodson. Felix is the oldest child of David Franklin Tutor and Martha Tennessee Rodgers. David Franklin "Frank" Tutor was the son of Owen Tutor and Lucinda Dennis. Owen Tutor was the son of Owen Tutor, Sr. and Lucinda Senter of Cumberland County NC. The young Owen was b. ca 1818 in Cumberland County NC. He moved along with some of his brothers and sisters to Pontotoc County MS about 1848. His wife, Lucinda died in 1860 and he returned to NC with his two youngest daughters in 1862. He entered the Confederate Army on 15 Sep 1862 in Harnett County NC as a Private in Company I, 31st NC Infantry. He was killed at Fort Darling, Drury's Bluff, VA on 16 MAY 1864. Hope this helps.
