More Tutor and McGregor ancestors are buried here; however, this site is best remembered by our family as the location of Quella McCord's house, otherwise referred to in the neighborhood as 'the haunted house.'

My grandfather, Rev. Jim Ike Whitworth was one of many who alluded to things he both saw and heard at the house, but would not discuss.

The short dead-end road leading to the house, paralleled the cemetery. The house and road are gone.

To her grandchildren, Quella was a much loved character study. She was a pioneer and survivor; she was a yarn spinner and story teller and a family historian. ph
