Dot,

Nettie Pearl Tutor is a daughter of Issac(Isiah)Tutor. She was my mother-in-law's mother. She also is the grandduaghter of Jefferson D. Tutor who married Frances Herndon, August 7, 1866 in Pontotoc County, MS. Owen Young Tutor is the father of Jefferson D. Tutor. (William) Owen Tutor is the father of Owen Young Tutor. Jefferson D. Tutor and Frances Herndon had the following children: Thomas Jefferson Tutor bn. june 2, 1867; Jsiah Lapoleon Tutor b. Sept. 1869; Mary Jane Tutor b. Aug. 17, 1874; Enoch Andre Tutor b.Jan. 27, 1876; Jospeh Ellis Turor; b. Abt 1877; William Rufus Tutor b. Feb. 27, 1878 and Dorothy Maxine . Another excellent source for Tutor info is GenCircles. Several different families have ancestral trees concerning these people. I also used the 1870 census as well as my mother-in-law's information. She was from Water Valley, Pontotoc County. Her father was Mack David Dickey. Her name was Minnie Lorene Dickey and she married Fred Alonzo Hammons.

At one time a family who had the same documentation could be found at Genealogy.com which is the on=line form of Family Tree Maker, which I use. I do not know if their tree is still there. Ancestry.com which is the parent company of Genealogy.com I think may also have some of this family in their World Trees. I could be wrong but all documentation says Frances married Jefferson d. If you have other infor showing otherwise pleas let me know. I will need to straighten out my records. When Lorene gave me her information she was elderly and not well and I hope hse did not confuse family members.

If i can be of further assistance let me know.

Carylee
