Looking for info on John G. TUTOR/TUDOR, born about 1796 in Virginia. Appears to have lived most (if not all) of his life Mecklenburg County, Virginia. He married Lucy FREEMAN in 1824 then Elizabeth MEACHAM in 1833. John had at least these children: Mary, William, Elizabeth, Julia, Sam, Sarah and Angelina. Have census data for John for 1840 through 1870. He died late 1870 or first few weeks of 1871 (have copy of court record showing dispersal of his assets after death). Want to know who John's mother and father were and anyone prior in the TUTOR line. John G. Tutor's daughter Mary married William Fitts in 1843. Mary and William are my great-great-great-grandparents. THANKS.
