My husband and I did a study a few years ago trying to look up his family tree. I found a bunch of information & my old computer crashed and we lost it all. My husband's name is Elmon Lee Tutor and his father's name was the same. He was from North Carolina, born in 1906 & my mother-in-law was his third wife. He died while married to her in 1955 or 1956 in Florida when my husband was only 4 or 5. His mom lost total contact with anyone in his dad's family and I know that he has - or had half brothers &/or sisters he has never met. He would like to make contact with someone from his dad's side of the family if at all possible. We know that his great-grandfather's name was Jesse Tutor and he served briefly in the Civil War 31st NC along with his 3-4 brothers. Can anyone let us know if there are current members of my husband's family still around. All his life, he has felt like half of him is missing. I wish I still had the genealogy stuff I did now as I got all the way back to Wales tracing his ancestry.
