Sephus Edgar Tutor married first Piety E. Frye in Moore County NC on November 28, 1884. (per the marriage records) and Fry family history. They had two children;Furman Jefferson Tutor, born August 12 1897 in Roberdale , Richmond County, and Lacy L. Tutor born December 22 2899, Beaver Dam, Richmond County. Piety died about 1900. The 1900 Census shows Sephus a widower with Lacy a baby in his house. Furman is with his grandparents. Piety was the Daughter of Daniel West Warner Fry and Ellen Amanda Fry. She was my fathers Aunt.Lacy died on February 6, 1908 in Richmind County.Furman worked for the railroad and eventually ended up in Montana. He married Flourience Paul in Anaconda MT. in 1934. HE died in Silver Bow, Bute Montana on September 26, 1971. Seems he had no children. His Step mother is mentioned.

I hope this is of interest and if I can help more please let me know. Dan
