We didnt end up in Jacksonville. My dad's father - Elmon Tutor - ended up dead in Jacksonville in his car of unknown causes. He had settled in Daytona Beach, married my hubby's mom - his third wife, at least - and had my husband. He left her after a fight one day in 1955 0r 56 (I forget now) and a week or so later, they found him dead in his car on a side street in Jacksonville. They ruled out foul play and the general consensus was a heart attack although there was never an offical cause of death established. He had a known drinking problem but we do not know of any other health issues. My husband (Elmon L Tutor) was born and raised in Daytona Beach and was 4 or 5 when his dad died. His mom stayed in that area & his dad;s family all lived in N Carolina and she didnt stay in contact with them and none of them ever contacted my husband. We think he had half siblings but we never have found out.
