John, this might be reaching a bit, but sometimes we have to check out any and all leads. I have Isaac with a brother Thomas in my data base. The Isaac very well might be Isiah instead. This Isaac was born in 1869 which is the same year you have. For what it's worth here's what I have:
Isaac Tutor, born July 1869 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He was the son of Jefferson Tutor and Frances Herndon.
Thomas Tutor, born 1867 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He was the son of Jefferson Tutor and Frances Herndon.
Jefferson Tutor, born 1845 in North Carolina. He was the son of Owen Tutor and Lucinda Dennis. He married Frances Herndon August 07, 1866 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Frances Herndon, born 1846 in Alabama.
Children of Jefferson Tutor and Frances Herndon are:
i. Thomas Tutor, born 1867 in Pontotoc, Mississippi.
1 ii. Isaac Tutor, born July 1869 in Pontotoc, Mississippi.
Owen Tutor, born 1818 in Cumberland, North Carolina; died Bef. 1870. He was the son of Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter. He married Lucinda Dennis Abt. 1843. Lucinda Dennis, born 1818-1822 in North Carolina.
Owen Tutor, born 1772 in Cumberland, North Carolina; died Aft. 1850 in Cumberland, North Carolina. He married Lucinda Senter Abt. 1798 in Cumberland, North Carolina.
Lucinda Senter, born Abt. 1782 in Cumberland, North Carolina; died Bef. 1850 in Cumberland, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Stephen Senter.
