Sarah Ann Twomlow is in my tree; she was baptised in Aston, Warwickshire 12 December 1852 the daughter of James Twomlow and his wife Sarah. Her date of birth was stated to be 21 Aug 1851. She was the youngest of 5 children whom I have found born to this couple although there may have been more. James married Sarah Byfield in Aston 2 July 1837. At that time his name was spelled Twamley and his father was Jospeh Twamley a malster. James was baptised Twamley to Jospeh and Ann at Coleshill Warwickshire 9 July 1808. Jospeh married twice and had a large family some children being baptised Twamlow and some Twamley. Over time the name seems to have corrupted to Twomlow - at least on some braches.

Sarah Ann Twomlow Scott migrated to the US in abt 1885 and appears in the Nebraska State Census for that year. From later census I believe the family settled in Missouri. I would be interested to learn of her descendants.
