I believe this may be the right Thomas Twibell. I had no idea what his wife's maiden name was. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated. Their daughter's husband Willis was the only remaining living person from that family. He had at least 4 arrows in him when found and taken in by I believe the Twibell family. His mother Suzanne Ziegler Daily along with one child, and she was pregnant with another was captured by Tall Bull and his band of Indians. Tall Bull murdered the child because of the constant crying. Suzanne was captured along with another white woman and on the day the soldiers came to rescue them, Tall Bull's squaw murdered Suzanne but the other woman was saved.
