My great-grandfather Joseph Twiner is a from Yazoo Co., MS as well, after marring Gladis Swann they moved to Oakdale, LA and had 3 children, my grandfather William Swann Twiner, and his brother Malcolm Twiner and a sister Elizabeth Twiner. My uncle William Irving Twiner did a family tree several years ago and found that the Twiners were once noblity in England, what part I don't know and he has since died. I hope that helps.
