Hello Gina...

I have the following Twitchells:

Edward Twitchell married Sarah Williams
They had at least two children:

1. Abital b 8 Dec 1834 Alabama; m 10 Jan 1861 Tyler Cty TX to Archibald Laird; d. 7 Mar 1912 Tyler Cty TX

2. Sarah, m William Graham (date and location: Unk)

Can you check your history for William Twitchell (or any of the others). It appears that the family may have been migrating from SC or GA, to AL, and on to TX. Abital is my wife's g-grandmother. Subsequent generations moved into the Oklahoma Indian Territory; many are still there.

I suspect that it is possible that William Twitchell or his father may have been a northerner who ended-up in SC after the Revolution.

Thanks for your help.

Dick B
